Blue Sakura was created as a place to gather.
Inspired by the tradition of hot pot dining, we bring people together around one table to cook, share, and enjoy food at their own pace. Our all-you-can-eat experience brings together hot pot, dim sum, and small plates in a modern, comfortable setting designed for groups, celebrations, and everyday dining.
Our menu offers a broad range of ingredients, flavors, and combinations, allowing guests to explore and customize their meal — whether it’s your first time trying hot pot or a visit you come back for again and again.
At Blue Sakura, dining isn’t rushed. You choose the broth, select what you enjoy, and experience the meal your way.

1. How does your all-you-can-eat experience work?
At Blue Sakura, guests enjoy an all-you-can-eat dining experience that encourages customization and sharing. Choose your soup base, order hot pot ingredients and small plates, mix your own dipping sauces, then cook everything at your table. You can continue ordering throughout your meal and enjoy the experience at your own pace.
2. What kind of variety do you offer?
Our menu includes a wide range of soup bases, premium meats, seafood, vegetables, tofu, balls and paste, hot pot noodles, dim sum, appetizers, rice dishes, desserts, and drinks. The variety makes it easy for everyone at the table to find something they enjoy.
3. Is Blue Sakura good for group dining?
Yes. We offer large tables that can accommodate 6–8 guests, making Blue Sakura a great choice for group dinners, celebrations, and gatherings. Hot pot is designed for sharing, so groups can enjoy different flavors together at one table.
4. How long is the dining time?
Our all-you-can-eat dining experience is 90 minutes per table. This helps ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests, especially during busy hours.
5. Do you take reservations?
We are walk-in only. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Wait times may vary during evenings and weekends. All guests are welcomed to join our online waitlist to save time waiting in line.
6. Where is Blue Sakura located?
Blue Sakura is located in Allston, just minutes from Boston University. Our location makes us a convenient choice for students, locals, and visitors looking for an all-you-can-eat hot pot and dim sum dining experience near BU and the greater Boston area.
